I figured I'd pass this info along in case the "budget" builder doesn't know already, but many big auto parts stores offer free rentals of specialty and general purpose tools.  This comes in handy for anyone doing sporadic building and anyone not wanting to invest too much in tooling.  I just called my local Pep Boys and confirmed they do rent out tools for free (you basically put a deposit down for what the tool is worth then get all your money back when you bring it back).  I also inquired about the power steering puller and they rent that tool out too (for a budget barrel puller).  Hope this helps you guys and a good thing to know if you're working on a car and need a $100 tool you'll only use once (been there, done that).
