| attempting to change the front sight base on my SLR105.I have 3mm pins ,should I use a 3mm drill bit or a size smaller for a better fit? |

your drill should be .002-.003 smaller then the pin you want a press fit your bit will make a hole larger then your drill by .001 or so keep this in mind cause if your hole is to big the pin will just fall out also if your hole is .003 smaller then your pin theres no way in hell your getting it into that hole GL |
