I am about to thread the barrel on my WASR-2 and had a question. I do not have the plunger that holds the flash hider in place. However, I do have the hole for it in the front of the FSB. My question is can I buy the plunger and spring from kvar and install a plunger on my current sight block? Is the plunger somehow held in by the front pin on the FSB?

You used to be able to buy them from Kvar. If they're in stock you should be able to get it. Yes the front pin should hold the spring and plunger.
