Why doesn't someone turn out a front sight with an offset front post (like a UZI)?
It would eliminate that tool that presses the front sight drum left or right. Just think of it,,,,,Turn the post up or down for elevation. Then just slightly turn it for windage. One would never have to worry about snapping one of those adjustment tools while trying to move that drum left or right. I would buy 6 of them if they were made. The post could even be made of plastic if needed. |
For starters if it screws up and down like the Uzi as soon as you adjust the sight for windage you just adjusted for evelation as well.
The rear flip sight on the standard AR is the same way. If you zero using the small aperature then switch to the larger one your POI also shifts 'cause the rear sight has moved slightly on the threaded portion of the shaft. |

I'm an AK worshiper but aren't you overestimating the precision of AK Battlesights? |

Hmmmm, In the 80's, I had a model A UZI and it was a piece of cake to sight in. I don't see what difference there would be.
I guess one would have to expirience one to understand what i mean. I'm not trying to shoot a Bee in the butt at 500 meters. Nevermind, Back to your arm chairs boyz. |
