On my front sight the elevation pin is a little to the right looking down the rife, kind of like this................... ( l ) should it be competly in the middle???

Thats fine dude. On an AK the windage is adjusted by moving the front sight to the side a little bit. If its off center it just means someone adjusted it at one point.

thats fine. Your supposed to be able to drift it left and right to adjust for windage
