[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Front site post

Is it possible to adjust the front site post on a Norinco AK47, the entire post is canted to the left. I see that it has 2 pins holding it in place. Are these welded in or can I tap them out. It appears that my front site post is a hair to the left, causing me to press my front site more to the right then centered. Anyone with the knowledge, please let me know.
