So which trigger group should I get, the G2 or the FSE that Krebs sells ???

I'm already leaning toward the G2 since I can't afford the RSA Trigger System ...

I have one of the older FSEs and two G-2s.  Don't know if the newer FSEs have improved but comparing the ones that I have it would be the G-2 hands down.

Kewl, I know everyone likes the G2's but I haven't ever heard much about the FSE's. I already thought I'd be getting the G2 anyway ...

+1 on the G2.

The FSE FCG in my '74 had horrible trigger slap.

The disconnector needed to be filed down.

Still haven't been back to the range to see if it solved the problem.

what he said but id go with the rsa if theres any way you can swing it

i got an rsa few weeks ago (used)
someone had ground the hammer to dust instead of adjusting it DOH
anyway i emailed ken about getting a new hammer
i told him what was going on and explained i got the fcg second hand and would like to buy a hammer
he sent me a new hammer free of charge
anyone who stands behind there produsts like this gets my vote 110%

I really would like the RSA but I have another plan going and I can't swing it right now ...
I have an idea for a PBS-1 style suppressor that I want to get turned. The FCG was an afterthought, so I have to wait to get the good one, probably for a future 102 project ...

That's cool about Ken sending you a new hammer, Leupold has that same kind of policy with their scopes. No matter where you got it from if it's screwed up they'll fix it ...

Definately get the G2 over the RSA and the FSE.

Huh?  G2 over an adjustable fully milled trigger set like the RSA?  We should get another RSA group buy going...I could use another.

take care,

Tec_Nine I`ve had the best luck with the G2 FCG. The FSE got mashed and the RSA disconnector broke.

RSA had a bad batch of disconnectors get out one time a couple of years ago, call them and they will replace it free.

I'll be the first to say that I love my two stage FSE single hook.

I put a FSE in my Maadi.  Was gritty as hell.  Removed the FCG and did some judicious polishing of the parts.  Basically I just removed the finish and some burrs on the bearing surfaces.  NOw it has nice smooth two stage pull.  I will use a G2 in my new Romanian build this time.  Not that the FSE is bad, I just want to try a G2.

I still have the 16in. threaded barrel, would that fit over it? It might be too long, ORF has a shorter one, I don't know if will fit right either ...
There's a ton of machine shops up here, I should be able to get one turned cheap without much trouble ...
