[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Galil scope mount problem

I had this scope mount for a while and already knew it didn't fit my CAI Galil, which I figured was due to the receiver not being quite standard. But then I tried it on my IMI Galil and I'm getting the same thing:

I'm guessing grinding down that plunger some should fix it, but I wanted to consult folks who might've seen this before.
