Does anyone know of a source for one? All I have seen are the Tapcos with the rail molded with the handguard. Can you seperate the gas tube from the handguard on the Tapco, it looks like a onepiece to me.
Are they interchangable with a different county of manufacture, ie. will a Russian tube drop in a Chinese without modification? |

If OP does not want the gas tube or does not feel comfortable with repairs, I would love to get it if possible. I hate to do a "me too post", but I have one of those railed gas tubes, I hate it. It is thin metal, and the the rail actually started melting from the heat after only a few rounds.
