I am so excited today I was with my Dad at the gun store and he put a down payment on a Romanian AK-47.hug.gif I will be getting it at Christmas. ,I was just thinking how cool it would have been when I was 16 or 17 to have an AK!I bought a Universal 30 Carbine when I was 17.

To answer your question I am 20. I will be 21 on the 18th of next month. And I am a police cadet currently. I am hoping that when I get hired in a few months that the department will let me carry it in the trunk of my patrol car. Although it doesn't sound promising in the regard since this one guy who is the SWAT Commander in another department told me most departments and especially tactical units won't allow anything more than a .223 Rem. because of the high penetration factor. I could have got the Romanian one there that looked just as nice as the one I am gettng that was chambered in .223 Rem. but I wanted to go for the real deal and get the more powerful 7.62x39mm. And that is not the reason why I got it anyway. Most likely I will have a department issued M16 in the trunk for North Hollywood Bank Robbery (which we kow mde it hard on gun owners like ushe And this is probly my first time on this exact form but from time to time I post on other forms like the Beretta and AR-15 forms.
