I have a friend who wants his Saiga .308 threaded, preferably in 5/8x24 if even possible, so he can put on Western brakes. I have been out of the AK game for years now so I don't even know what's what anymore.
Maybe you guys can help us out? Who does a good job? |

that thread should work on that barrel diameter, although I have no 1st hand experience. I've done all my own threading with a TAT and die, so I con't really recommend someone. I do know back in the day a friend of mine used a local smith to have his rifle threaded. |
