I went to disassemble my first Romy Kit and everything went fine until I got to the rear trunnion.  The long rivets are a pain.  I managed to drill one out, but broke a drill bit in the other.  Any advice on removing the drill bit impaled rivet would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

Can you try to drill out most of the rivet from the other side, or is the broken bit most of the way through?

As luck would have it, the bit is most of the way through.  I drilled out as much as I could from both sides.  I have about 1/4 inch left right in the middle.

Grab a punch and try to pound it out.  If most of the rivet is missing and just the tip of the bit is stuck, the whole rivet with bit should come out.  Broken bits suck.

What he said. Try to drive the rivet out now.
