Ok, I finally got around to shooting my first build AK. Two things, 1) At 50 yrds it's about 4 inches to the right, every shot. And it's not me, another shooter same results. How do I correct it? 2) Another thing I noticed, When the bolt closes I get a light primer strike. Not enough to fire the round but every round I take out of the chamber is marked with a Light primer strike. Why? |

primer strike is normal, it because of the floating firing pin hitting the primer due to inertia. move your front sight to the right and if that doesn't cure all of it buy a RPK rear sight leaf and then adjust it left. between the 2 that should get you centered up on the target Jason |

hammer and punch, you drift it over. just below the "Ears" on the front sight there is a Round rod that can be seen on each side on the base. This is the part that you be moving. You'll need to pay attention to the front sight post once it all the way against the right side of the opening and it isn't fixed, you'll have to go with the RPK rear sight Jason |
