Well, after many years of looking, I finally found a deal on a Sam7r-61 NIB. The original owner added polish laminate to it, but still had the box and original furniture, with all the accessories. Paid $1400 for it. Really nice gun. I wish I could post pictures, but I don’t have an image hosting site.

Debating on putting the original polymer furniture back on.

Congrats! I also purchased SAM7R new back in 2013 (mfg date 2013). I swear it has the best trigger and any AK ever and I've had quite a few. You'll love it.

These SAM7's have very good triggers, underrated IMO.

DRAGGING an old thread up, but do you know what trigger weight yours is, or anyone for that matter?

I been measuring my SA M7-A1R trigger on a scale and get about 3 pounds. It has very short over travel and reset. It just has long pre-travel. Anyone know if the ALG/G trigger is a worthwhile swap from the arsenal trigger?

I placed an ALG trigger setup several years ago when it came out in my sam7 UF-85. It beat the shit out of my carrier in very short order. Yes it was a light trigger but ultimately switched back to the stock one. No regertsAttached File
