Anybody ever get a split neck with 7n6. Had one today.

Cases that after firing have a split neck are no big deal.



All it means is the case failed and can't be reloaded. Reloading not an issue in this case.




No harm was done to your chamber or rifle.




When cases fail, they will normally have a split neck or the primer pockets loosen. Again the reloader in me talking.

This....steel is less malleable than brass so it sometimes cracks. No big deal on steel cased ammo.
