+Where can I get info on hand guards such as when different countries used wood or bakelite?Who used flat sides or palmswells and when. This began with a picture on this site of green bakelite hand guards on a Soviet AKM. I've never seen this before and the shape of the bakelite guards were perfect! I've looked around and cant find any bakelite like I want and found no information on this subject. Right now I'm not looking for reproduction or custom parts.
