| I have an Arenal SAM-7 that will not chamber a round about once every mag. The bolt goes foward but doesn't chamber a round. It seems like my mag is loose in the magwell, there is some back and forth play. The play i think is where the tab at the back of the mag goes into the mag release. Any suggestions would be great. |

I had a very similar problem on a Romy that I built on an OOW receiver, apparently I located the front trunion too far fore. Once I welded a shim to the flat part of the mag catch it increased reliability to %100. You may try JB welding (as a temporary solution) a metal shim to the catch, if you need pictures of mine let me know. If the JB works you can remove the shim and weld it in as permanent. |
How many mags did you try ??? If only one mag , that might be a problem with the mag ... |
