I just finished my second Romy G build. My first build was screw build and my second is rivet build both kits are matching. Both have tight head space the bolt won't close with the go gauge but will chamber a round. My head space gauges are new from midway. Do you think it is my head space gauges or are US standards are different than Romy standards. These were working rifles be fore they cut them up. Any help would be appreciated.

You have the same problem I do. I didn't ante up for the CIP spec gages and went with the SAAMI spec ones which don't lock up. The gages won't lock but loaded rounds lock up just fine. I'm on build #6 and I haven't had any issues or KBs with the previous builds. Luckily, all of my previous have been matching number kits. I'm not advocating not to headspace a build but just giving you my .02.

Clymer go gauge completely locks up on Arsenal rifle. Checked by hand with disassembled bolt ... no carrier used.
Romy matching no. G kit, go gauge did not completely lock up.

It's perfectly fine if the bolt won't close on a go guage but will close on a live round.  You're good to go.
