| I currently own several AR15's and Ak's. My favorite rifle of all is my polymer Vector AK. I just picked up another Vector with wood. I was thinking of trading one of them for a Bulgy SSR. The only reason I would do this is because it is not a parts gun like the Vector and I want something that will last forever. My question is this, will the Bulgarian provide better long term reliability than a Vector AK built from a parts kit? I know all can have problems, so what would be your general opinion? Help me decide. |

NO! Keep the Vectors! Goodness, the lunacy is spreading...
Look, parts kit guns are NOT crap! That's like saying you want to scrap your custom 1911 because it is built from a Colt frame, a Caspian slide, and the internals are all from Wilson. You have a GREAT rifle! Don't second guess yourself. If you'd like more information on the topic, go HERE. I spent way too much time writing that up to re-post it again, but maybe it will help ease your mind. |
