Hey guys. I am finally in the club! I got my paperwork back last week for my Bulgy krink 5.45. I have had it less than a week and am seeing some surface rust on the beer can flash hider and the side folding stock release button. I have been handling the gun a lot, but its really starting to bother me. I used some g96 gun lube on a rag and it wiped off of the flash hider easily, but there is still some on the stock release button. I hate rust, but don't want to keep the gun so lubed up all the time that my hand smell like gun spray every time I pick it up. Any suggestions? I'll post some pictures of the gun soon.

| Why is rust even forming on the flash hider. It's painted and all. Does anyone make a finish that is like the tenifer they put on glocks? I own two glocks and have put them through hell. I have never had spotted rust on any of them. I also have never had this problem on my beretta xtrema. I have a problem with the black guns and aks for some reason. |

I'll start by saying that i have Never owned that particular flash hider. All of my rifles have been sand blasted then finished w/ Moly Resin I have yet to find rust on any of my rifles. CorrosionX is the only oil or cleaner i use on my rifles too. I'm not saying that what i do is perfect or best, but its been working for me here in MS. The only time i had rust on my muzzle brake was w/ moly resin over park. |
