[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do these things happen ?

I have always consider myself an AR person. Favorite gun by a long shot. But, the AK has always had a place in my collection as well. So tonight I picked up another double underfolder in a trade. I get it home, take it apart, give it a good cleaning and put it in the safe. Then it hits me, I now have 1 more AK than I do AR's

How do these things happen? Do they multiply when nobody is looking? I don't get it.

my ak's out number my ar's 6 to 1,

never really had a full on love affair with the ar

I've had several AKs in the same for some time now, and they've never reproduced for me.

I like ARs and own one, but I only shoot it occasionally and have never really fallen in love with them either.

aks number 2 to 1 in my household, for the simple fact that they're cheap, and ammo used to be cheap.
