My friend sent me the below picture asking what this was and if he should buy it. The lady who owns it doesn't know anything about it. He did tell me it says made in China. So, what is it and any idea what he should pay for it?

It is a Norinco Hunter; now that you know what it is, you should go ask about value in the "Want to Know the Value of Your AK" thread and delete this one.

I just got off the phone with him and he said it says Interstate Arms on it.

ETA: Is that still a Norinco? My buddy has a Norinco and it says Norinco.

Interstate arms is the importer. Norinco is the manufacturer. Not all Chinese AKS have the manufacturer info stamped on them.

The is definitely a norinco hunter.

On the left side at the front of the receiver it probably says 386 in an oval and 7.62x39 under it. 386 is the norinco factory.
