I know this has been covered thousands of times, but what's the secret to attaching an East German side folder? Obviously the grip nut has to go in last, but how? I did this years ago, but I guess I'm getting senile...

Dave,pry up,inside the reciever,on the stock release lever and slide it back a little.This should allow you enough space to get the grip nut back in place.Then just slide the lever back till it locks in position.
