[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Installing the G-2 trigger help

I did some search on here and at the saiga site and didn't find my answer.
DO I HAVE to remove the trigger guard to install the tapco trigger group? I already have a Tapco pistol grip and collapsible stock on it. I can't stand the long pull on the stock trigger. Other than the drilling out the pins, will I have to do any other mods or will the Tapco trigger "drop in" as in plug and play?

Has the trigger guard been moved forward or is it still in the sporter configuration?

Sounds like you have a "bolt on" butt stock with a pistol grip.
A standard G-2 will not work without a "full conversion".

Ok, that is what I was thinking. It has the bolt on deal from Tapco, that is the way I bought it. Well, time to order some parts
