I got a romy kit from them, I pre-ordered it about 2 months ago,PROBLEM (1) when I got it it was missing the selecter stop, OK. On the check off list they state "WE CANNOT PROVIDE ANY PARTS LISTED BELOW WITH A "0" QUANTITY, SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK." also "PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR OVERSEAS SUPPLIER DID NOT INCLUDE THE SELECTER LEVER STOP OR THE CLEANING ROD AND WE PRESUME THAT THEY WERE LOST AT DESTRUCTION". So I thought "OK, I'll buy that". NOW I look on their web page and in big bold print this is what they say "OUR KITS INCLUDE THE SELECTER STOP." How can anybody be such a bold faced lyer? PROBLEM (2) I have a saved e-mail from IO staff, stating that these were ordered as matching # kits, but they won't know for sure untill they receive them. I had good faith that IF they got matching # kits I'd get one (since I'd been on the list so early). Mine had NO MATCHING #S AT ALL!  . Again, I say, "OK, this is what they received". BUT NOW I LOOKED ON THERE WEB SITE! The Basterds say for $30 EXTRA they'll give you a matching barrel/bolt/carrier, that was not an option when I ordered! They also had a picture of an AK with a forward vertical grip in the add that I ordered from, I didn't get one. NOW they want $20 hand select for one. I e-mailed them ruffly the same thing I posted here, I told them that I am a member of ak47.net, ar15.com and gunco.net and that I will be posting the events/actions that unfold. I am waiting for a reply (not holding breath!) What really piss' me off is that I wanted this to be my last AK, so I kinda wanted it to be good. AND the reason I was on their site (when I saw these new lies) was to buy a couple bayonets and five slings.  |
I am what is refered to as "lawsuit proof", that is I make so little money that I haven't payed tax in about 5 years and I own NOTHING, no house, no car, according to the government I am a transient. I'm on government healthcare as a result.

| David e-mailed me, he offered to "make it right". If I understood right he was willing to exchange it for a matching number kit (I don't know if he was going to charge me), OR he would send a selecter stop. I asked him to explain if I had to pay and why his web page said what it said. It looks like I got it squared away. |

Not to harp on it, but it doesn't always matter if it's true. If your intent is to cause harm to their business, and you succeed, you can be liable for damages to their company, including future damages. Glad things worked out anyway. |
Yeah right "make it right". My plight was a terrible kit (advertised excellent) returned for exchange back in Dec. 2004. Of course had to wait til Feb. 2005 for the new shipment. Got it and that kit was no good either. Sent it back again (another $10+ ship cost to me, thats 2x now) had to wait til late Apr. 2005 for new shipment. After last episode, phone contact was promised a handpick kit. Got the kit, numbers match and bore is great however missing selector stop, bent to piss front sight protector "ears", driftwood stocks (chipped, gouged, buttplate worn thru, etc.) and worst of all less than 15% metal finish. Thanks for the handpick kit you promised Interordnance!!! |
