I was looking inside my SAR-1. Is it illegal temporarily fire in full auto? I was contemplating jambing a tiny wedge inbetween the trigger and the hammer catch, keeping it from stopping the hammer. I do not know what this will do. It would seem the the hammer would follow the bolt back up as it chambered the next round, but I cannot say whether or not it would have enough force to set off the next round and repeat. This is just a hypothetical question, I would want to try it and get hurt, If at all attempted it would only be for a mag or two for the pure fun factor at some targets in a sandpit...thanks

it is my understanding doing this will cause the wepon to fire out of battery and causes an unsafe condition in the rifle.

oh, and im purdy sure its illeagle unless you have a license to manufacture a fully automatic rifle. in which case i dont think you would be asking this question.

hope this helps and if i am wrong feel free to correct me

Personally I do not see it any different than a full auto trigger device made for AR15s sure its junk but its not permanent, its basically assisted bump fire...I do see what you mean about being out of battery...The timing would be offset. I dont think the second round would fire, I bet it would have to be recocked and it would chamber a new round....Just wondering?

?????

DO NOT DO THIS.  You won't like yourself if your foolishness causes an out of battery firing.

If you're going to go ahead and do it even after we've told you how....

1) illegal it is

2) unsafe it is

Then why are you asking again?

forget its illegal
forget it could blowup in your face
plain and simple fact is if it would work they wouldnt have all those ofther parts in a fa ak
a fa selector will hold the disconnect back
IT WONT WORK AND IF IT DID CHANCES ARE IT WOULD BLOWUP IN YOUR FACE
