Can anyone give any words concerning the quality of their products? Specifically their AKs.

I have one of  their AK's that I bought at a gunshow. It's been great so far. About 1000 rounds through it with no failures of any sort. And it's more accurate than I am. I like it.

Your kidding right?  I have heard of 2 of their firearms that have worked now.

I know alot of folks bitch about them. But mine's a keeper. It has three of the US made plastic mags too that no one else seems to like but me. It feeds and fires fmj, hp and sp Wolf and Barnaul ammo from the plastic or steel commie mags I have with equal ease.
It has a bit of wear in the it's Duragard finish on some edges now from use. The black poly furniture still looks new. I do clean it well after every session at the range.
It was my first AK. I didn't know about Joeken when I got it. I just checked it out at a gunshow and liked it. It seemed like a very good middle priced AK.

My shooting buddy had ordered one of the "PLO" AK rifles that used the "PLO" parts.  He waited for over a year and then they finally sent him something, not what he ordered.  And it would not function so he sent it back and got his money back.  I have heard way more bad things than good about that company.  Some forums have even banned them from any sales through their site due to bad quality and removed them as a sponsor the quality issue got so bad.

You have been forwarned.

In all fairness, from what I have read since buying my gun, I would not mail order one from their company sight unseen. But in the case of the one I have, I was able to handle it, inspect it and work the action and study it for canted blocks, etc before buying. I thought it was a very well made gun and it has been great for me. Really got me hooked on AK's in general!
Would I buy another? Sure. As long as I can inspect it in person before buying. I think that's very important in any kit built gun like these.

Oh, no doubt in that. I'm still weary of ordering any rifle, and having it sent to my dealer before being able to at least caress it. I need to get in on some builds sometime this year. The first rifle I build will definitely be my favorite.

Nothing but bad about them!  Yet another scummy gun dealer.
