Well, I bought my first AK in many years. The last 2 AK's I owned was a Polytech and a Norinco, I really miss my old girl with the folding spike bayonet. I sold both thinking I could pick another up when ever I wanted and then the bans happened. Back then I lived in California so there were more than just one ban of sorts. I ended up buying a Lancaster RR under folder. I was looking at one from Vector as well as Henderson. Vector had a 9 month back log and Henderson never returned any e mails or phone calls so I decided on a Lancaster. My question is, can anyone post a couple pictures of the para cord they wrapped on the stock for comfort, and will it open and close without getting in the way. What knots did you tie on the front and rear of your wraps and did it hold. Thanks again, I did do a search and didnt really find what I was looking for, I am sure I will get flamed by some search nazi but I assure you, I really did look.

I was told by Mike at Lancaster it would take 2 weeks to a month to have it built, is that a real time frame or will it take longer. I am a FFL holder, and told him we were looking to place an order after we saw the rifles quality, will that help speed up the build process. What I said is true, we are looking to stack some AK's in the shop and the life time warranty is a good selling tool in its self. Hope I made the right decision, if not I am sure you guys will let me know. Again, any help on the under folder will be appreciated. This rifle is going to be my personal AK to have fun with so I would like to do it right from the get go and not experiment if I dont need to. I wanted to pick up a milled Arsenal or even a Krink, but I spent $1,300 on some needed accesories for my duty rifle which limited my AK toy fund. If there is something you dont want to say on an open forum regarding my choice or Lancaster in general feel free to shoot me an e mail. I respect the opinions of the people on this site, and would not want to sell junk to other people localy. I am an AR guy, and first and formost a custom 1911 guy, this is deffinitly not my area. You did great.  Top quality AK's in that price range.   My shop became a dealer on 5/1 and rec'd their first shipment of 5 rifles on 6/25.

I purchased 2 of them, and love them.  ANother friend of mine, picked up the 3rd.  They sold like hotcakes...

Sweet, thats what I was hoping to hear. Do you or anyone else that might be reading this have any recent pictures of there blond and russian red wood on newer builds. Which would you say has a wider audiance meaning which will sell better. I first went with the red wood, but called today and had them switch it to blonde.
