I was looking at buying a Zastava N-PAP M70 AK-47.

I was told you can not change the furniture or it wasn't the same furniture as most Aks. Is this true?

Furniture is very limited--at least right now. That's why I sold mine.

You can change it, but it is different than standard AKs and there are very few replacement options.

Size and fit, yes. Cosmetically no. The N-PAP is finished, the O-PAP is not. The O-PAP is surplus with a crest (possibly) or numbers on the butt stock.
