I have recently purchased a single stack M70 Zastava. I am interested in what it takes to do the conversion to make it a double stack, and have had little luck on my searching the net. What I need in particular is specs or a method to determine how much I need to take off of the front trunion in order to fit the mags. I found a youtube that was better than nothing and through this I have heard that there were some written instructions available but I  haven't found them. I have some experience with projects or enough to know this doesn't seem impossible, but I also know that I am still a student and anyone that would like to take the time to help me learn how to do this I would appreciate it.

If previous single stacked PAPs are any indication, you will have to open up the front trunnion to accept double stacked mags.  It's not just the magwell opening on the receiver that needs work.  Unless things have changed, that was what was required on the previous single stackers.

Older M70's they had a single stack bolt, what I had to do was buy a double stack bolt and that fixed the problem with feeding from standard 30rnd mags, no magwell mods needed, unless mags are not fitting/too tight. ymmv, gl.
