Well it think I found my next build.  The question is, do I get a kit from ORF, or CFS?  Has anyone built one of these yet?  They state that an M70 receiver will work, but I am hesitant to use one since it is caliber specific.  Show picks if you have one....

Who states the M70 receivers will work?  If its CFS then they are carrying vulcan receivers that are stamped for both "7.62" and "233".  Even if it works for either caliber I wouldn't be buying one...again.  Holes just don't line up quite right, and the trigger guard holes are waaay off.  Not to mention the UF rear trunion sits about a 1/16th above the bottom of the receiver leaving a pretty gap.  I am afraid to find how the rails are positioned.  I look at it as a waste of 50 dollars, lesson learned, I got something to practice riveting on.

Given a choice between ORF and CFS, I'd get the kit from ORF.  ORF is not always perfect, but they will make it right at their expense if they mess up.  In regard to the receiver, I'd get one from nodakspud.com.  They will being doing special runs of receivers for these kits.  Judging from the other receivers I have received from them, my expectations are high.  Just send them an email and they'll put you on the list for an email when they are available.
