I was wonderign if there is anything I could put on my WASR-10's finish to cover-up the machining marks?

After dremelling out my mag well, I took some flat black high heat rustoleum paint & used a q-tip to cover up the marks I had made.....worked nicely, but I'm sure some of these folks will have better advice.
