I have been buying the 30rd mags from AIM for a while now and all have been working flawlessly.  I have one that is extremely tight which the mag release wont return to position when inserted.  I have to give the bottom of the mag a good whack for it to sit in properly.  Do I need to file anything or dremel the mag???  Never have seen this before.

Does the magazine feed properly when it's in the rifle?
If so, I'd file (not dremel) the bottom of the lug on the magazine.
Go slow and check for proper fit often.
When the magazine latch operates properly, quit.

If the rifle doesn't feed properly (the bolt doesn't pick up the top cartridge), I'd file the top of the magazine lug, checking often for proper operation.
