| Very nice. That Aimpoint mount has the styling of the older RS mount, which I loved. I'm a pretty diehard RS fan, but I'll probably pick one of those up and give it a spin. |

These mounts put the optic on center line. The only way someone could have a problem with the co witness models is if they have a crap rifle with a canted front sight. I have a couple of these Midwest Industries mounts; a standard AK Gen 1 for my Arsenal SAM7R and a Yugo Gen 2 for my NPAP, both with the Elite Defense Locking System, and they're both outstanding mounts that position the rail perfectly centered and very low over the dust covers of both rifles, are easy to adjust, are rock solid on the guns, and return to perfect zero after being removed for field stripping and cleaning the guns and then re-installed.
These are some of the best firearms accessories I've come across in roughly 60 years. |

| After 1000 rounds, I've found that it should be a bit tighter than the directions say it should be. Make it tight, then go an extra one and tighten and it'll hold. And that's with 5.45 so I imagine with 7.62 it'll be apparent much earlier. I mounted a Vortex Crossfire to it and I love it. The combo is small, light, tough and reliable, but it took a little bit to get that tightened just right. Not complaining, just advising. |

I just installed my third Midwest Industries scope mount this afternoon, and this one went onto a new Molot FM-AK47-21 Vepr with Steiner Glass.
Its perfectly centered and solid as hell and I can't wait to sight it in. These are great mounts. |
