Any info on the weight, I'm looking at mounting my SRVV Jet brake on one of my 14mm threaded AK's however it weighs as much as a brick, so this looks like a good alternative

How long are the threads cut? Meaning how deep are they cut into the muzzle device?

weight is 2.7 oz.
threads are cut .750 deep
We have not looked at the 74 yet but we are not ruling it out.

So what's the real world testing show? How effective is it in recoil and muzzle climb?
Does it effect shooters standing next to you?

We have full auto film of a AR on our face book page. We have shot a lot of rounds tru these and they have had great results.

Why does it have detents for the locking pin at 3 and 9 o'clock ?  I cant see anyone mounting it with ports facing vertically.

It's just a brake, so I imagine you'll get significant flash from the ports.

Bayonet will not mount, but recoil reduction is great! If I purchase another AK it will definitely have one also. It is well finished and neat in appearance.
