I am looking for a nice AK-74 brake for my SAR-1. I would like one that simply pins on, But do they work well? Do they wobble or throw your shots all over the place?

if properly installed (the brake must be a tight press fit on the muzzle) your rifle won't suffer too much from the brake.

all brakes affect p.o.i. to some degree. some brakes move the bullet more than others.

but, as a rule, the more securely the brake is mounted, the less shot walking you will expirience.

the aftermarket ak-74 designs are not as efficient as the commie designs in recoil reduction.

try global trades or aa-ok for your brake.

I just wish that someone would design pin on slant brakes.  I know that the slant brakes don't really accomplish much, but they also don't add 3" to the end of your barrel.
