I have my eye on the dragonuv style break.

Threaded 14mm x 1LH
Possible or am I outta luck?

I get the feeling that isnt for 7.62x39 or for romanian AKs.

Can anyone offer some info?

i don't see any problems putting that on your ak other than the fact that it is out-of-stock and/or if your rifle does not have threads. i put an rpk style flash hider on my romanian ak (the one below the dragunov) and it works just fine. remember, these are considered flash hiders and not muzzle brakes. lastly, you could always call them or email them with your concerns.

so just thread the barrel, throw on some locktight and good to go? or does it have to be pinned?
is timing an issue or no?

If your AK's muzzle is threaded 14x1LH then you're fine. You might have to add the retaining pin/plunger and spring to your FSB which will keep the BRAKE from spinning off.
