So here is my build:

I've moved the charging handle over to the left side, installed a QD button on the rear, and went with a Bulgy 4 piece FH.

Next on my list is some sort of mount/rail for the front (for a small red dot or a green laser), a Tromix charging handle, and a Krebs or Krinkov rear sight.

I had some reliability issues at first, but I lubed it up well and ran a couple hundred rounds and now it's a flawless feeder (200 rounds more on our last outing). Prior to the Bulgy, it was a fire-breathing monster (especially at an indoor range...fun, but quite distracting). I've yet to shoot it with the Bulgy, so we'll see how much that's been tamed.

BTW, the cutting and welding of the CH was done by Fred at C.a.R. Firearms in Tukwila, WA (suburb of Seattle––and the guy is awesome with all eastern Bloc weapons! ;) )

Truth be told, if I was a lefty, I would have left it on the right side. :)

The reason I moved it to the left is so that I could charge it without removing my hand from the pistol grip.

What is involved in moving the charging handle over if I may ask?

Slotting the top cover for the handle on the left, then cutting off the charging handle and re-welding it on the left.
