Gotta show it off guys! I just love the heck out of this rifle. What an awesome amount of firepower in a small package!
This is the first time I've tried to post pics so I hope it works.

+1 Give it some Durakote, Gunkote, whatever, then refinish the wood.

You'll REALLY like it then!

No just a guy that builds them in his garage. I've put 180 rds through it yesterday up in the hills and it was flawless! No failures of anykind. Wasn't looking for accuracy, just reliability.

I rebuilt one of those that I got as kit from Bob @ Akron. It turned out very nice, just like yours is. I haven't had a chance to fire mine yet. I recoated mine with flatblack molycoat after washing off all the nice Polish paint with acetone!

Yea, well I can't wash off this Polish finish with acetone, because it is parkerized. But I have found a spray on oil will turn a gray parkerizing to a dark gray or black. And it lasts a long time, as well as protects a firearm. I use it on my AR's especially on a Bushy, it will turn the gray to black.
I sprayed down my Underfolder an hour ago and I'll post pics on the difference tomorrow. Parkerizing loves oil.

The grey parkerizing looks nice. Looks like the guy does nice work. Does the guy who built it buy the kits and manufacture, or did you bring him the kit?

I would hope you bring him the kit.

If he bought kits, recievers and sold them, he would be a manufacturer and perhaps doing it without a license.  I hope he is not doing that, since it would be illegal.

Ok lets stop calling him "the guy". We'll call him Pete. Out of respect for him, I'm sure he doesn't want his name plastered all over this post. Pete has a Class lll License, and I assume what ever license you need to sell in Wa. State. Pete builds them and sells them at gunshows and also puts them on consignment at gunshops around the area. He buys the kits and recievers himself, puts them together and sells them to needy people like you and I. He also does work for local LE agencies around here.
And I would just like to add, thanks for the praises on his work. I'll certainly let Pete know.
