Hey guys. I've poked around here and asked a couple questions about parts kits and various other sundry topics, and I figured it wasn't fair not to give something back in return. I just recently got my approved Form 1 back, so I went ahead and ordered a Micro parts kit. I took the risk and ordered a Blackthorne kit... we'll see whether that turns out to have been a mistake or not, but nothing so far seems glaringly shoddy or dangerous.

I mocked up the final product this morning. Here are the pics.

Where's your trigger guard, feed ramp and internals?

From other Blackthorne /Hesse kits they did not come with feed ramps and a trigger guard. Best unwrap and check,

Ha, you're right! Guess I don't have all the parts after all.

Mine's at DSG getting the receiver machined for a MAR stock so it should actually look like a true Micro in the near future. I'm actually glad that it's built on an IMI receiver instead of ORF's after reading about all the issues with theirs. Good luck with your build and when you're done, maybe we can start a MAR thread. Micro's rule.

Yours is pretty cool - I like the ambi charging handle. Do you have a source for the correct muzzle device? The kit I bought just had a birdcage.

I bought this kit several years ago after placing a wtb ad for it so I could'nt begin to tell you where to find one. Your best bet might be ORF as they have lots and lots of MAR kits sitting around. Good luck.
