Pics are a little dark but other than that it looks good.  Does it have the selector gap issue with the OOW receiver? I'm curious as to how many smiths can fix that little problem with OOW 7.62 recievers.

Yes,  The pics are a little dark my photo skills need work.

It has the infamous selector "gap" but I fitted several different selectors, romainian, polish, e. german etc...

The e. german had the least amount of gap!!

This is the gawd awful selector gap, it's terrible, just look at that!  I think this image is the only time I have ever really noticed it.
And no, the 5.45's don't have it.

That's hardly a selector gap. I've seen them much much larger than that before.

Functional - none... it is strictly a cosmetic issue.

Couldnt resist...Polish 1981circle 11 factory, G2 trigger, OOW reciever(small selector gap like in the photo above) all rivet build. Original refinished wood. aluma hyde 2 finish. Smoothest working bolt action Ive ever seen on an AK. Traded another memeber for it. Its had about 20 rounds thru it. still to dammed snowed in to make to the desert to try it out.

No markings on the sling. I think Its Polish. Guy did a really great job building this gun...he didnt intend on selling it, he made it for himself. Lucky me

Hers a little info on the Polish AK designation.....................

Pmkms stands for "Pistolet Maszynowy Kalasznikowa Modernizowany Skladany" which translates to Machine Pistol Kalashnikov Modernized Folding. The name implies Machine Pistol and was used in 1950"s. The designation is similar to
German "MPK". Later on they changed it to "kbk AKMS" which stands for "Krotki Bojowy Karabin Automatyczny Kalasznikowa Modernizowany Skladany" which translates to Short Battle Carbine (or rifle) Automatic Kalashnikov Modernized Folding. It's obvious that AK is not a pistol. Why they named it PM is beyond me but we know the commies were stupid.
PMKMS- wrong name,
kbk AKMS- correct name
