I ordered 36 mags from the Guide. Some neat pieces but very subtle, nothing obvious like an aluminum mag or a bakelite, fleur etc....

I got ten BHO's, 6 were triangle drain holes, 4 round. All were very good condition but one that was fairly rusty, functional, but not as nice as the others.

I got four Chinese all stamped. Two looked new the other two have been in a rifle a couple times but very nice.

Got four standard Chinese mags, flat back, all in very good condition.

I got two Russian mags, one has the arrow in triangle mark the other I has no marking but the feed lips have big spot welds on the top of them and I understand this is a Russian characteristic.

I got 6 painted/odd parkerized mags, 4 of them are excellent, two have seen some use.  They have different markings. Some have an F on the spine, one has aggressive welds on the feed lips like the Russians and also two big spot welds at the front of the mag near the front catch. That one is marked with a 27 and a diamond with maybe a C in the diamond.

The rest appear to be various Euro mags, ridge back etc...all in very good plus condition. I did have two mags that came with bent floorplates. No big deal to straighten them out. Really a great deal for "shooter" mags and anything rare is a real bonus. Very happy, will probably order another two dozen.

Did your Russian look anything like this one of mine with the arsenal mark on the side?  I sold mine within days and I keep getting contacted by people wanting to buy it.  Price around $150.00.

Yes, that is EXACTLY what mine is. It's a Tula right? Like I said I was kinda disappointed when I didn't get a slab,  bakelite, Fleur etc.....But the mags are good mags and well worth the money anyway. But maybe I did pretty well after all????

The triangle with arrow is Izhevsk, star marked ones are mfg at Tula.  Good score there, I have one with about 70% finish or so brought back from overseas that is Izhevsk marked like the 1 shown.  $150.00 eh...might have to put mine on the market at that price!
