Do you have a full stock already that just needs cutting, or need the whole shmear?

I have the stock. I thought about attempting to cut it, but I wanted to price a replacement first. I'm not confident I can pull off a clean modification.

Any suggestions or ideas you have would be appreciated.

If you can file and sand plastic you can do it. Just do not cut to close to the edge and be willing to file and sand a little. I am going to do mine when I get time to do it.

Check out riflestocks.com click on ak>stamped receivers and then vepr. It's also folding and designed specifically for the Vepr

Good choice. The Ace is the only other stock I would put on my Vepr besides the plastic Robinson one unless I had a 20" .308 then I would go Chaote.

That ace sidefolder mech sicks. The stocks not bad, But the mechanism sucks royally. If you want you rifle to fire in the folded position, you better wear a mouth piece when you shoot, cause that mech is VERY close to your mouth.....

I thought it was generally a bad idea to do aimed fire with any folding stock. The idea was for transport not shooting. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Your wrong

That is the general reason for the folding stock....But a gun that you cant shoot, is like a knife, thats dull. I mean its personal preference if you want to shoot your gun folded or not. But if your ever stuck in a car with it, In SHTF, Your gonna wish you could fold the stock and shoot it....
