I decided to put a PSA Tank Brake on the ol' WASR, just to change it up after 12-13 years of slant brake. Attached File Attached File The finish wear on the wrench flats is from me experimenting with putting a crush washer behind the brake, which I ultimately decided against and just put an O-ring there instead. |

I'm gonna be THAT guy and quote and directly contradict myself, as I've bought the WASR for my Alpha build project and a SAM7K for a Krink project in the last two months or so...so much for saying sales are down! Anyway, my SAM7R build since this is a pic thread: Attached File JMac buffer tube adapter which means...oh the horror...the lower tang has been cut off! ...and the way it was removed allows it to be reinstalled if needed wanted, so purists can piss right off! Rest of build is an SLR Rifleworks rail (their AK 10.5" LITE MLOK) with MagPul handstop (which is one of my favorites). Cheese grater gas tube cover, custom BFG Desert Tiger stripe sling, ALG trigger, MapPul CTR stock with riser and grip, and EO Tech with their 3X magnifier. * Before anyone asks about the red tape it was so guns/mags could be matched to each other quickly if need be, especially critical when you have 7,62x39 and 54R, 5,45 and 5.56 AKs which all look alike if you were to ask someone who didn't know any better. |

...and my Arsenal SLR-107FR build: Attached File JMac stonk (their stuff is EXCELLENT), BFG sling, B5 pistol grip and forward grip, ALG trigger and MagPul fore end and gas tube cover...which I'll probably change out to a cheese grater because reasons and I love the look! Midwest Industries optic mount with Primary Arms ACSS 4X optic. It's deceptively lightweight and as much as I want to dislike the PA ACSS as a budget optic it does very well and I haven't brought myself to replacing it. |

Recently I decided to try painting camo patterns using stencils and spray paint. I used stencils sets that I got from freedom stencils, they were surprisingly easy. Two things I learned from this project, preparation and patience are key to getting good results, unfortunately I don't have patience. For a first attempt, I'm happy. If I do it again I'll definitely plan out the pattern placement before painting. My attempt at M81 woodland with stencils and spray paint. The rifle is a Draco barrel assembly, Draco bolt and carrier, polish front trunnion, DDI receiver and CSS rear trunnion.      I tried to do Russian Partizan camo on my AK-V, didn't come out anywhere close, looks like a bastardized woodland camo.    |

I've been having fun with my new (to me) M90. It came with the Zastava MLOK handguard, optics mount and cheese grater. I put the wood upper handguard back on and I'm trying out my accessories like the old PERST-4 I've had for a decade and a Surefire M340V. Attached File Attached File |

Stripped most of the accessories off. The handguard moves too much to justify a laser. The handguard is kinda sharp on the edges so I'm planning on ditching it. Gonna take it to the range today. Attached File |

Put a reproduction Soviet sling on my M90. I wish i could find a Yugo sling that would be correct for an M70 for it. Attached File I ordered the Zastava furniture kit with the cheese grater upper handguard, Serbian red lower handguard and triangle stock. That coupled with the current furniture gets me a full Serbian red furniture set and full set of tactical-ish furniture. |

Got my Zastava furniture kit in. It gave me enough to do a full Serbian Red furniture set and Zastava "tactical" set. Serbian Red with Bulgarian mag Attached File Zastava tactical set with AC Unity mag Attached File I prefer the Serbian Red so that's how it'll stay. I want to get an AK74 brake for it, though. |

I threw an MCarbo +15% recoil spring in my M90 and on setting 1 with an A2 birdcage flash hider, it's one of the flattest shooting guns I have. |
