It's not mine, sorry, just am an amateur AK Aftermarket Parts Expert lol, never had any experience with the MCX stock personally as I would like to give it a try, but if it is anything like the underfolders, it will take a lot of getting use to and a few funny looking goose eggs looking like cysts that will likely dominate your chin jawline until you get use accustomed to its roughness. Honestly its the one factor thats keep me from giving the MCX a try to be honest, cool looking stock just not willing to fork out that cash for a slightly upgraded AR15, that I could put together and have for much cheaper using a PWS MK1 Mod 2 Lower, and I am completely oblivious to the Uppers Pros to a standard AR15, but sure nothing that couldn't be accomplished with aftermarket parts for an AR15.

I intended on getting some better pics of this one before posting, but no telling when I’ll get around to it. Here’s the latest addition. New, never fires Keng’s imported Polytech Doublefolder. I’ll be breaking it in this weekend hopefully. I plan to document the wear and tear on this one for the next several months. Based on my other Chinese AK’s, I’m not expecting there to be any abnormal wear, and very minimal wear in general.

Is that moded Bulgarian furniture on that bottom double underfolder? Whatever it is, I like it!

Nice collection!

Zhukov (stock options are limited as I don't want to do a ton of work to convert to a triangle/poly left-side folder) and choke tubes are a necessity before next season, methinks.

Thanks man! Yes, it's a set of Bulgarian handguards that I modified. Below is the lower. I used a dremel and a round file (mainly the file). The pistol grip is a fat Polish bakelite grip.

Ever Since I was Afghanistan and seeing that picture of the ANSF Guy With the CAA X47 Rail System I've wanted to clone it so bad.

What kind of rail setup is that, and does it replace the original gas tube?

Do you happen to know if TDI is ever going to bring back the $200 X47, it's a lot cheaper than the CAA alternative.

Just noticed this pic, is that bottom 74 a SAR-2 threaded, or a rare Tula AK74 with the 45 Degree Gas Block?

Im going to switch it for a T2. None of my RS Regulate mounts will fit on the rail. Plus the sidefolder gets in the way.

I got a BCM Bravo Stock, so mine doesn't fold, but at the point I would get the Zenitco B33 Top Cover with the B10 or B30 Lower Rail and or B31C Upper Rail from Ivan Tactical, or Legion if I was in your situation, does add some weight, not to bad with just the B10 and B33 though, but that's just my personal preference when it comes to placing an Optic on my AK, I don't like it to far forward.

I didn't do any refinishing on mine, but I couldn't bring myself to.  It's the original (sewer-pipe-ish) barrel.  Passes the bullet test at the muzzle, and you can see strong rifling, just lots of crap in the grooves.  The carvings did it in for me to leave it as-is.

Just gonna keep it oily and let time/nature do their thing.
