Much nicer feel when shouldered. https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/AK-RUBBER-BUTTPAD-FOR-AK47-AKM-AKMS-AK74-p1572.htm Surprised at the quality. One of the comments said it doesnt fit tight but it feels pretty solid on my Polish triangle |

If anything it looks cool, and it might help vent out heat better. |

Just finished this AKM up today at Rifle Dynamics in Las Vegas in their 3 day AK Builder class. Absolutely amazing experience and the AK I ended up with is a finely tuned machine that works extremely well. I couldn't possibly be happier with the Fuller's and this AKM
Attached File For those interested, it was built off a Childer's receiver, surplus Romanian kit, and new US 4150 barrel. |

Just finished up this Romanian AKM on a Polish 80%. Sanded the receiver down to prep for paint but I'm kind of liking the "battleworn" finish as it matches the rest of the rifle... Hmm....

Didn't have time to strip the paint tonight as I was too busy helping a buddy build his very first AK. He's working on a very similar build to my most recent. Anyway, this is far from a quality photograph but here's how it sits currently.
Attached File Definitely a bit of both worlds! Regarding the finish, I ordered another parts kit this afternoon so maybe I'll go with the unfinished look for that one It'll be the 4th AK I've built in a month.. I definitely have got the bug! I've helped one buddy build one, mid build on another (just need to populate the barrel on Friday), and I have 4 more friends/ family that are waiting to build theirs next! And thanks regarding the LMT comment! Love those MRPs! |

Year 2 of carrying my M77 through the woods for a week during hunting season. Actually a very comfortable rifle to carry, and with the resurgence of wolf and cougar in our usual area I'm glad to have it.
