$2500 for an AK? It looks neat, but is there really a market for that? There is or Krebs and Rifle Dynamics would have long since gone out of business. Plenty of collectors will be happy to buy it. It's definitely not for someone who just wants an AK for the hell of it. |

Absolutely will. Here's hoping for a similarly fixed 5.45 in the near future... I'm am new to the AK game...but why does everybody have a hard on for 5.45. It seems like every time a different AK comes out everybody comes out and says I wish they had in 5.45 or I'd be all over a 5.45 version. Is it the 9 vs 45 debate of the AK world? |

They make a 14 to 24mm adapter, no? Just in case they make that but keep it 14mm like the 107 pictured. I am mucho excited about these. I was looking for an SGL21 but one of these would be hard to pass up. You could do that, but anything other than a 24mm FSB will keep me from buying one. |

Well For One It Seems some people got rid of 7.62 rifles all together. 5.45 is nice because it flies flatter, less recoil, lighter ammo etc. Plus there are usually less market offerings in 5.45 so that is why people ask for it as well. Variety is the spice of life. A lot of guys have huge stashes of 7n6 ammo that they are sitting on and like new rifles to shoot it in. Some of this is speculation but I think it's true for the most part. Try a 5.45 rifle if you can I'm guessing you will like it a lot. This pretty much sums it up. 7n6 isnt like it was at $120 per tin but even now its fairly easy to get for 20-22 cents per round shipped to your door from a private seller Still a bargain in my book. |

Is it the 9 vs 45 debate of the AK world? 5.45 is a better round than 7.62 IMO. Flatter shooting, great performance to 500m, faster follow up shots and generally the rifles are modern pattern stamped receivers with more muzzle options because of the 24x1.5r FSB. Mags aren't terribly expensive either, and 5.45 guns have a certain collectibility all their own. The Soviets dropped 7.62 over 40 years ago and 5.45 has been used very successfully in all their conflicts since. Having been interested in them since I was a kid I was physically sold on them when I was getting hits at 600m with my PO 3.5x21P optic back in 2006. |

I'd be all over a new version of the SAM7 "Classic" fixed stock, Type 3, but with polymer stocks. Like the rifles we gave the Iraqi Army, but in semi-auto. I'd pay up to $2,000 for that one. The proper barrel, gas block and front sight base would be a MUST, as well as NO SIDE RAIL.
Unfortunately, Arsenal seems to be really reluctant to give us 45* gas blocks... |

I've been wanting a fixed stock to go with my 107's, but I did not want a SAM7...this is perfect...hopefully we see them around $800...either way, I am grabbing 1 or 2. Once these get spread out to dealers i think we should see low $800 on these. Thats when i buy one |

I hope they don't think those weird-looking folding stocks that extend out of the receiver like that are as desirable as a real triangle folding stock. It looks like somebody welded some extra metal on the back to add a folding stock after the rifle was built. It's a twin-tanged milled receiver - the mechanism has to extend beyond the tangs. If you want a folder that's what it's going to look like. |
