I just put the Tapco G2 in the WASR..Went to the range on New Year's Eve and it was a bit chilly. I never noticed trigger slap before, but man was my finger stinging after 2 mags! I think cause it was cold that I noticed it cause my fingers were cold. I had posted a while back that my century fcg was fine but I take it back now. No more creep and the pull feels very good. Cant wait to fire it. If anyone has a WASR and is thinking about it, think no longer and just order it. WAY better than the crappy fcg that it came with, and I havent even fired it yet! |

Oddly, my Century WASR disconnector had the "tail" on it, and it slapped like a mofo. The new Century Yugo I just bought has no tail on the disconnector. Maybe they stopped making them the crappy way? I ground the tail off the WASR one with a grinder and polished it with files, then reblued it, and I have had no problems since. |
| I read how to fix it from Linx310 but after hearing so much about the G2, I just had to have it. The pull is better with no creep and much smoother. I was going to fix it myself but didnt want to take the chance of screwing it up. $36 dollars later and happier than hell. Makes the rifle feel sturdier if that makes any sense. I also compared the parts side x side and they are somewhat different besides the tail you would have to cut off according to Linx310. |
