The other day i bought a fairly new Yugo M70ab2, 3 mags, bayo, mag pouch, and 800rds of Wolf fmj for $400

The Next day i sell the Yugo and 2 mags for $500 at a gun show.

The Same day i Buy a Vector arms at a local gun store with a lifetime warrenty for only $550, $588 after tax.  Its the same as this Vector

My question is how can i tell which parts kit was it made from

If i had to guess i would say bulgy because it has a thick barrel, but honestly thats a shot in the dark.  The bolt is stainless steel too...

Comments appriciated

Without having photos of your exact rifle, it's hard to say.  Vector using a lot of "representative" photos on their site and use a lot of different parts to build many of their various model rifles - a good example is their Polish underfolders wihich have ranged from using rare East German kits to Russian to Polish.

A Vector AKM build may have a wide range of various country parts, both milled and stamped styles, on it.

Thx, i'll try to add a pic as soon as i can.

Sounds like you know you shit, because it had Bulgarian Furniture on it.  I just took it off and it was stamped "Bulgarian".  I'm going to shoot it now and compare it to one of my WASR's.

I'm debating on using another Trijicon Reflex on this one.  My next accessory will be this Muzzle   I just have to get the Duckies right

Vector no longer assembles AK rifles from complete parts kits since they are all gone now.  They assemble random parts from different countries, ie no more matching numbers.  Your kit may have polish, hungarian, and bulgarian parts.  Its not like the good old days anymore of virgin complete kits.

Just get some good photos of various angles and we'll try perform a literal "disection" on it.

After talking to Every Person in the Gun shop, the gun smith came back from Lunch.  He says that their Vectors were made from Bulgarian Parts.  We checked numbers, alot matched but the bolt and bolt carrier.

He wasn't sure where the bolt carrier or the bolt came from.

He called it a very nice    BASTARD AKM

Honestly he was the one there that even had a clue about specifics.

One of the other members mentioned that they may be new Bulgarian parts, I just called and they have no clue. LMAO

The only two numbers that matter are the trunnion and bolt and those only matter if the original barrel is used.

Since Vector is using US barrels now the mismatch doesn't mean anything.
