You might try "bowing" the rear of the top cover where the recoil spring guide seats. This will tighten the fit against the rear trunnion. One one of my M70 kits, the previous user--assumed to be some Yugo variant GI-- had already done this. Some Yugo AKs addressed this problem with a rear locking pin for the top cover which had a tendency to pop off during extended full auto use. HTH |
